Description
Dumani (“Mother of Mist” or “Mother of Clouds”) is the native name given to Rakaposhi (7788 m).It is ranked 27th highest peak in the world and 12th highest in Pakistan. However, it is more popular for its beauty than its rank might suggest. Rakaposhi has an uninterrupted vertical rise of approximately 6000 m (19,685 feet), making it the tallest mountain on land when measured from the base to its peak.
DUMANI is the only mountain in the world which rises straight from beautifully cultivated fields to it’s present height.
